20,000 or more NYC employees, mostly firefighters, police, sanitation workers, and EMTs marched across the Brooklyn Bridge today and rallied at City Hall to protest de Blasio’s threat to fire all who do not get the shot. Most of them are “hero” responders from 2020 who have recovered from Covid. Can’t let that interfere with Pfizer, Moderna and J&J’s business plan. We had to wait more than half an hour on the Brooklyn side to get on the bridge while the front of the march was already across in Manhattan.
